Royal  Conservatory  of  Music  Exams  Co-Requisites

 

If you are doing Royal Conservatory of Toronto practical exams, you will know that you

have co-requisites and pre-requisites for your practical programme.

They consist of:

  • Basic Rudiments

  • Intermediate Rudiments

  • Advanced Rudiments

  • Basic Harmony

  • Intermediate Harmony

  • History Level 9: An Overview

  • History Level 10: Middle Ages to Classical

  • History ARCT: 19th Century to Present

 

If you need help with these courses, contact me. I can teach you privately, or in classes to save you money. You will benefit from an experienced teacher who has many techniques to help you pass the exams. By having a teacher prepare you for these exams you gain all my experience, as well as study techniques to help you memorize the syllabus requirements. Personal teaching, as opposed to merely reading the RCM textbooks, or following impersonal courses not designed for you, makes all the difference to your success!

SUMMER SPECIAL:

* I am offering a special online Music History course to fulfil the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Level 9 diploma requirements.

* I prepare you during the course to succeed with ease.

* All classes are recorded so that you can review them.

* There is exam preparation at the beginning of each class, as well as individual coaching on writing the comparison essays.

* This course covers all the most famous pieces composed from Bach to the present day, and will be of interest to anyone who wishes to have a broader understanding of classical music.

* The textbook (not RCM) is highly detailed and includes many study tips and glossaries to assist you in getting full marks.

* I have successfully taught many students, as young as 12 to gain high marks for this exam, while also ENJOYING their first experiences in music history.

** Three Classes per week, August 8th to 26th:

* Monday 7:30 to 10 pm

* Wednesday 7 to 10 pm

* Friday 6:30 to 9 pm
