Online lessons are conducted using one of three FREE platforms

(apps, or programmes):

1. FaceTime (Available on all Apple devices)

2. Skype  (Recordable lessons)

3. Zoom  (Recordable lessons)

 

• Lessons are weekly

• Lesson length depends on the level and age of the student.

• Online lessons always take longer than in-person lessons due to the added challenges of teaching online and internet connection problems.

• Music History lessons are a minimum of 90 minutes long.

• Tuition materials (sheet music, piece videos) are shared by email.

 

Progress can be made with practical online lessons, and those students who opted for online lessons during the pandemic made a great deal of progress and passed their exams very well.

All Royal Conservatory of Music exams are currently online.

 

Music history lessons are completely unaffected by the online format, and are possibly BETTER!
